Keith Jarrett, born May 8, 1945 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is an American jazz and classical pianist.

Jarrett is best known for his gigantic solo piano oeuvre. He is also known for his trio work in jazz music along with bass player Gary Peacock and drummer Jack DeJohnette.
