Jean Baptiste Frédéric Isidor (Toots) baron Thielemans, born on April 29, 1922 in Brussels, was a Belgian and American jazz musician. He was famous for his harmonica playing, guitar, whistling skills and composing.

His most famous composition is Bluesette from 1962.

Toots Thielemans passed away on August 22, 2016 in Braine-l’Alleud (Eigenbrakel), Belgium, at the age of 94. He is buried in the cemetery of La Hulpe, just outside Brussels.
