Wynton Kelly

Wynton Kelly, born December 2, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York, United States was an Jamaican American jazz pianist. He is known for his blues style of playing, irresistible sense of swing and as being one of the finest accompanist players in jazz.

He also played on the track Freddie Freeloader from the legendary album Kind of Blue.

Wynton Kelly passed away on April 12, 1971 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 39.
